What Makes Our Diner So special?

The Capri Restaurant is a Boise institution, an original 1950-‘s diner serving up home “home style meals”, and known for its fun breakfast. Many would argue “they have the best Biscuits and gravy in the world”. The Success of the Capri is due to the long time staff and ownership that has been in place for over 2 decades. The owners have been serving up “home style meals” like your grandmother made for over 20 years and that shows the minute that you walk into the diner. Come enjoy Boise’s best, The Capri.

“The Capri is a wonderful place to dine with friends and family. They have a delicious menu ranging from breakfast to lunch options that are reasonably priced. The customer service is also very friendly with employees that have stuck around for years. This place is cute, tasty, and fast!
“Walked in and loved retro diner look, our waitress was friendly and gave me some great recommendations since it was my first time coming in. I highly recommend the cowboy potatoes, we got our food served to us super fast. Biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak is what we ordered, all of it was delicious, my son destroyed his plate, even the coffee was noticeably delicious. I'll be back again very soon!!!”
“The food is always good the portions are generous and the ice cream is from Delsa's. The employees are friendly and helpful. I really like the old school diner experience it reminds me of the road trips I use to take with my parents back in the 60's and 70's. Sometimes you just need a little nostalgia”
“A friendly diner that makes you feel like family while you're here. The random assortment of cute coffee cups and the mouth watering chicken fried steak are the reasons I keep coming back. I recommend going in first thing because it's a popular pace by 7am!”
“An absolutely amazing place to eat. Never been disappointed. The biscuits and gravy are a must have. Oh and the cinnamon roll was to die for.”
“So friendly! Food is delicious. And it's so lovely to see an older establishment still so lively.

Make sure to check out the specials board when you go. And their cinnamon rolls are HUGE and delicious.”
“Best breakfast carbs I’ve had in Boise. I can’t speak to anything else on the menu, but the maple bacon cinnamon roll was heavenly, and the pumpkin pancakes are the best I’ve found in the area. We had a short wait but it was definitely worth it.”
“Hands down my favorite diner in Boise, the perfect little hole in the wall to sip on a cup of coffee. My usual is the Veggie Hashbrowns, hits every food group and like the rest of their dishes bigger servings that are large enough for 2 people! For biscuit and gravy lovers looking for something new this is the spot for you, they are definitely delicious and unique. Homemade cinnamon rolls to satisfy that sweet tooth! Most of the servers have been here as long as I can remember and know how to take care of you.”
“The Capri is a Boise gem that never disappoints. We stopped in, after having not dined here in a number of years, for breakfast. Our order came out correctly. Eggs dry scrambled just as requested; you wouldn't believe how often this is messed up other places. The hashbrowns were crispy and we REALLY appreciated that they weren't swimming in grease on the plate! The coffee was really good, too! Service, as always, was friendly and inviting.”
“Friendly service and really great breakfast. Try the cowboy potatoes - what a comfort food treat!
“Been coming here for 30 years! The ham & cheese superburger is amazing! My wife loves the eggs Benedict and my kids love the finger steaks. The milkshakes are amazing and made the old fashioned way with Delsa's ice cream. They are only open until 3 in the afternoon, so come early!”
Best food in Boise! I never order biscuits from a restaurant because they’re usually dry and pasty, but this place puts my biscuits to SHAME! Fantastic wait staff, excellent food, fun vibe. Capri is almost worth a special trip to Boise.”
